Chebotaru Tamara Vissarionovna is a celebrated Ukrainian artist and a key figure in the renowned Chebotaru family—an artistic dynasty that has played a significant role in shaping Ukrainian modernism. Born in 1954 in the village of Hlyboke (Odesa region), Tamara studied at the Odessa Pedagogical Institute, where she trained under Professor V.A. Hegomyan, a student of the iconic Armenian artist Martiros Saryan.
Known for her vibrant and expressive still lifes, Tamara’s work captivates with rich textures and dynamic color palettes that seem to pulse with life. Her signature impasto technique and sense of volume create a tactile, immersive experience for viewers.
With over 50 exhibitions across Ukraine and Europe, her paintings are held in private and gallery collections worldwide—including France, the USA, Hungary, Greece, and the Netherlands.
