Mario González graduated from the Art Instructors School 13 de Marzo in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. In 2019, he completed an artist residency at Bandito Gallery in Tuscany, Italy.
His work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions across Latin America, the United States, and Europe. A notable solo show includes Divergences (2012) at the Community House in Las Vegas, Caracas, Venezuela.
Selected group exhibitions include the Collective Show with Cuban and American Artists (2020) at Jack Meier Gallery, Houston, USA; the National Small Format Show (2019) at Artupstair, Cuba; Art Time (2020) in Mexico; the Salon of Cuban Artists (2013) at Hotel Alba Caracas Gallery, Venezuela; and the XI Biennial of Havana (2012), where he presented the performance Carbon SurCity at the Morro-Cabaña Historical Complex in Havana.
