Gregory Adjei Kumah, known artistically as Greg Art, is a Ghanaian visual artist born on July 6, 2001, in Nima, Accra. Raised in the creatively rich community of Teshie, Greg began his artistic journey at the age of six, turning schoolbooks into canvases for his vivid sketches. He later pursued formal training in Visual Arts at La Presbyterian Senior High School, where he deepened his passion and technique.
Greg's work is deeply figurative, blending elements of modernity with Ghanaian tradition. His pieces often incorporate Adinkra symbols, using their sacred language to weave narratives that speak to identity, heritage, and collective memory. Through this visual storytelling, Greg aspires to create a universal dialogue—one that connects people across cultures while celebrating the richness of African (specifically Ghanaian) traditions.
More than visual expressions, Greg’s artworks serve as catalysts for introspection and inspiration, encouraging viewers to reconnect with their roots and embrace the creative power within themselves.
