Viktoria Dubovyk is a Ukrainian artist specializing in artistic textiles and easel painting. Born and based in Lviv, Ukraine, she graduated from the Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (now the Lviv National Academy of Arts) in 1979, where she studied under renowned art professors such as M.V. Tokar, I. Bodnar, V.A. Manastirsky, and V.A. Ovsiychuk.
Since beginning her exhibition career in 1986, Dubovyk has held over 50 solo exhibitions across Ukraine, Poland, Germany, and Canada, and has participated in numerous national and international group shows and symposiums. Her works are part of museum collections in Ukraine and Poland, as well as private collections across Europe, North America, and Asia.
From 1986 to 2023, Viktoria served as a Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor in the Department of Artistic Textiles at the Lviv National Academy of Arts. She is also the author of several scientific publications on textile design and has been a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1992.
Viktoria Dubovyk continues to explore the expressive possibilities of textiles and painting, bringing depth, tradition, and innovation to her contemporary practice.
