Ajegbomogun Damilola is a Nigerian artist born in March 1993 in Ibadan, Nigeria. He completed his primary and secondary education in Ogun State before earning a B.A. Honours in Creative Art from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
From an early age, he sought a deeper artistic dialogue—one that revolved around intention, style, and emotion. This curiosity led him to painting, where he simultaneously conducted research and exploration to uncover answers. His works evoke emotions, inviting viewers to interpret them in unique and personal ways.
Damilola believes that understanding human beings is akin to understanding humanity as a whole. He is deeply fascinated by human emotions and their diverse expressions.
For him, painting has become a trusted companion. He reflects on his artistic journey, recognizing the changes he undergoes each year. His long-standing interest in brushwork stems from its ability to capture the intensity of character and the essence of authenticity.
